The Cheese

Few days ago I took the liberty to stroll down the memory lane. The occasion was simple, delivering the unimportant CD, filled with requested songs, to a friend at the old office. Well, you probably wondering why I took this matter as such a burden. I don't talk about it in this blog because the less you talk about it, the less important it becomes.

Let's just say I resigned in pretty bad situation, what's me without a conflict, right. Anyhow, I got there and most of people were already went home. Eventually there were 3 of us, talking non sense, making jokes, and watching half of Bolt. And when we realized time did flew by, we set ourselves to go. Right before I walked out of that place, I found myself walking around my old desk, looking around the place, how that place once made me a whole. It was my second home, my cheese labyrinth, my comfort zone.

However, far before the conflict occurred, something stroke me..I got to get out of here. I was too convenient, my surrounding there was too pleasant. Something inside me refuse to take another time nestling in there. It woke me up, I was sensible enough to see my work there was done as the work had me done as well. It was just something I had to do.

Guess that guy who wrote Who Moved My Cheese is right after all. To tell you the truth, I haven't read the book, yea can't figure out why but I can't read motivational readings. Maybe because they are all describe in rigid contents, put some colors, curves, and pictures, then my brain will able to digest, though the book tells in parable. The moral point is at some point you have to make drastic change, for your own good. That consciousness in you snaps you out, telling you to make a turn, fear is inevitable but eventually you will get to your senses. Just step up, changes are necessary. But that's not the important thing, the big question is how do you deal with the change. And no, this is not Mario Teguh talking, just plain old silly girl.

In my case, uhm..yea I'll get my niche. You'll see.
